These few days its getting scourching HOT! (panas eh). Even if the sun is not showing its 'spotlight', I am feeling very HOT. Yesterday, Borneo Bulletin had said that Brunei had been 'swirled' by heatwaves since early April. Ministry of Health had advised the people to drink more fluids, otherwise you will be on the way to the hospital in an ambulance kerana 'pengsan'. I think I need to get more H20 or other fluids in my body, otherwise I will be 'pengsan kepanasan'.
Post-prelim analysis
GP - As I have expected my P1 was satisfactory (2nd highest in P1). Hence, Mrs. Joan had asked me, Yick Siang, Fwuu Chyi & Neng Cong (the choosen ones) to do a detailed essay plan on the topic that we have choosen for the exam, and present it to the class on TUESDAY! However, I was NOT OPTIMISTIC on my P2, since I made a wrong choice of questions. Hopefully, I can achieve C grade. Overall, the tutor was not pleased with our results this time around, with 9 failures (for P1) when compared to previously with 2-3 failures only last year. She then later commented that we were not serious in our studies, dan lain2 yang segeng dengannya. She was expecting more, since set 2 was the best GP set among all sets since last year(this was said by her, not me). What more could we achieve, we have done our best, with the tough questions set.
Accounting - The result were within my expectations although, I am hoping to achieve more. Dont know if P2 or P4 'killed' my marks or its my best friend 'careless mistake'?
Ok thats about if for post-prelim analysis for now, I will continue in Saturday or next week
Today, we have a Fire Prevention talk from 2-4pm, but I 'escaped' because I am exhausted. Guess that I am starting to have usual Middle-of-the-nite insomnia. Tulah drink more Pearl Milk Tea & play with my mobile more againlah!From the looks, it seems that not only me was escaping. Its all common sense wah they say:'Kalau kebakaran cabut'. For not attending the worst case scenario is on Saturday, there will be annoucement which goes like this: Minta maaf, atas gangguan ini, diminta kepada ***********, PreU**** supaya dapat ke Bilik Disiplin/Pengetua sekarang juga, terima kasih. Takutlah saya! Kata orang: api kalau kecil dijadikan kawan, kalau besar boleh menjadi lawan
Yesterday, Tikah HL had shared with me a statement said by someone that really annoys me! Sorry, I cant share the statement here, kerana takut akan menyinggung perasaan rakan2 PreU2Sc & Humanities semua. To that person who said that statement: Eh wang, statementmu atu menyinggung perasaan kami orang Humanities ani wah. Tau kau, not all orang Humanities ani, dulu from Arts class, ada jua yang dari Science class because we choose this route! Kau atu baliklah cermin dirimu sendiri dulu sebelum mengata kami ini, maybe kau pun dari Humanities! Kami ni hanya insan biasa, yang akan buat kesilapan and we are not perfect! Ingatlah, the grass is not always greener at the other side

The heat is on ......
Pressure=Force/Area, eh why am I talking about Physics stuff here. This ain't a Miss Carol class on pressure. Well, what do ya know? The pressure on students now is very very intense, because
Today, is also the semi-final of the 13th Brunei National Debate Competition, hence a lot of 'free' classes, i.e. Accounting, GP(project discussion), because teachers went 2 Bandar 4 'national service'. So, I spend my free time in library reading Mr. Midnight. I read that there is some1 named The Interrupter. He have something called Life Technology Transfer, where ur life can be part of his life. Scary la, tapi it works like credit transfer. Oh ya just now in Biz Studies class, Cikgu Rashidah marah us because her 'class inda laku', 'Prelim mark macam rojak'(1st questn ia udah mental, essay .....)

Post Prelim Analysis
Hi after Prelim my brain have no idea what to blog about so this is a short post. Need to recharge it for a while.
Post Prelim Analysis:
Maths - As usual careless mistakes cause me marks, but this time thank god it is not too significant. Overall, the marks are quite OK when compared to End of Year
Accounting - Not too bad, hopefully my P4 mark can let me achieve an 'A' grade
Judging from all the results that I have got so far, I really need to work xtra hard on Maths, as an 'A' grade in AS is very very far from my current standard
Ok, enough emotional & sad stories about my Prelim results. What have happened had already happened, you can't turn it back, hence you will need to look forward to a better future.
Ok, I think I should sign off now, because I need a rest, last night having Middle-of-nite Insomnia syndrome. Bye!

End of Prelim Exam, Next On AS oh oh
I was supposed to update my blog yesterday, but as usual due to out-of-credit , in addition to the network 'meragam'.

Maths P4 - Sure die becuase I think I can only get 15/50
Accounting 4 - I screwed up the whole Cash flow statement & some parts of the share redemption question, so 80 free marks fly away !
Accounting 3 - Thank god it was quite easy. I am targetting to get 26-28/30. This should help to save my Accounting marks
Today, I discovered HTMLgoodies.com, which is so good for CSS, HTML code dummies like me. Now, I can colourised my wordings, instead of the boring 1 colour only!
Had been listening to Free's new album, my name is F word and old album, Free. Yeah, I am finally free, but as one of the song title say 'I dont know' if I will pass this time!

Story of 24
The number 24 is significant in my life. Why did I say so? My new friend from Singapore, Jun Hao's birthday is 24 March. My ex-classmate arah Form 4-5 Science, Magnescia yang pengatil birthday is on 24 April(isn't it today?). My birthday is on 24 May, and also the same day as Brunei's Energy Day. Pretty interesting isn't it? I think I have a special telephatic relationship with this no. 24. LOL! Oh yes, 1 day=24 hr(what is the Geo definition of 1 day?).
Happy birthday to Magnescia aka Miss ex Head Prefect Pengatil 2007. Dont always play-play ah, exam kan dakat udah ni!
All right, by 12pm on the 25th April, Im gonna be FREE, so I am gonna listen to Mr. Free's album after that. The album name already indicate that this album maybe kena ban one in Brunei & Malaysia. Tapi the songs inside, doesn't use crude words. I am wondering why its titled like that. Every song, there are stories behind it!

Earth Day & prelim
Candyman 2 .... Argh I so benci myself now no tq 2 that song. Yesterday while waiting 4 Biz Studies test, I was singing(did I?, shhh keep it a secret, its between you & me only). That song turns out 2 b a magic jampi bcoz in the paper got the question Candy Show. That was damn tough! Ops, I get 2 carried away with that candyman!
Hi, arigato ozaimas, I was kinda bz these few days with juggling The Youth Generation, revision that blow my head, TV(still got time lagi!), no time 4 update & no credit 2 go on9 liao!
I have been following an idol drama, Love 18 on Astro AEC since it started to be aired wks ago. It is a Malaysia, Thailand & Taiwan collaboration drama sponsored by Sony Cybershot. It was promoted as the 'must watch & most exciting drama in Malaysia for 2009'. The story was centred around 3 good friends:Joshua (Chin), Ah Zhe(Tan Chek Yao) & Ah San(Zhong Jia Xin) as the main casts. There were guest appearances by Michael Wong, Rynn Lin, Lee Jiu Zhe(is this correct?). It was filmed mainly in Chiufen (the place which I get soaked last December, bcoz of the perumpamaan 'sediakan payung sebelum hujan' I dont ikut)
Sypnopsis: Story about an American born Chinese young guy, Joshua age 18, bringing a deep memory of his mom with him, stepping into Taipei, a place where he isn't familiar with & starts his winter holiday with his grandmother whom he had not met before. In Taipei, he started to develop friendship with Ah Zhe & Xiao Shan, the 3 young friends look into each other view of life, passing through happiness, conflict, understanding & sadness, and finally treasure their relationship through the way. Walking through the growing up period hand-in-hand, they became brave to fight for their choice of love, able to face their daily problem in life & also entering different stages of finding out about their own self internally.

Maths P3-not as I expect i.e.payah 2 the max, but a few 1 mark questions dont know & 5 mark vector question
Biz Studies 2- 'paper is easy but answer is payah' as Cikgu Rashidah say. 3 essay question total 26 mark, all I write is piece of CRAP!
22nd April is the Earth Day, another publicity frenzy which started 39 yrs ago in the US. Is the world really starting 2 'care about the environment'? Or its simply a 'Think green' talk & 'act hooligan'? Richard Hartung writes an interesting piece for Weekend Today Apr 11 09 Voices section which says that the effort of saving earth should not b a '1 day lovestory' but an 'everyday love affair'. On our local front, edu@BT hilite recycling on a greater scale in Brunei. SMSA also had its own Environment Club & 1 student had started The Green Campaign blog which I thinks grabs a lot of attention. 'small step is a start 2 a big change' On my part, I have excessively cut my paper usage til I get complaints from some of my tutors. To Geo students, 22nd April is Earth Day and may Mother Nature help kamu semua to pass. Thats it Im 'brain drain' already. I see you on Friday again, bye!
P.S. It’s when you are young that you can really live your life, or so they say. But now, with the pressures and uncontrolled pleasures that surround us,the young seem to be falling by the wayside even before “life” itself begins.(The Sun U!, 21st April 2009)

More Uniqlo & a public apology(sorry seems to be the hardest word)
This post is mainly on UNIQLO.
1st of all, SORRY banyak2 2 Amizi Rosman (yang memakai contact lens 'sexy grey'), apparently my myopic eyes terlihat salah orang. There is no 'pelanduk 2 serupa' of Miji of SMSA in Japan, perhaps in someother place. So for the moment, there is no Japanese twin of Mizi, only him and his evil twin, Ezeh! I know you are in an emo mood, judging from apa yang you post yesterday in your blog. Hope that you will not be angry with me because me terlihat salah orang.
2ndly, judging from the response from my readers aka my friends on the Uniqlo T-shirts. Today, more Uniqlo, there is one ladies T and 2 guys T(too bad it may not be available in Uniqlo Singapore yet). Enjoy the picts. 'A picture tells a thousand stories'

So far so .......
Hi guys, long time no see, 2day I feel like I want to 'ketuk keyboard'. Here goes the long post again. I will try to shorten & simplify it.
Prelim Exam; 3 down, 7 more 2 go
GP - Paper 1 was pretty OK, I think, managed to write about 720 words on a topics that my tutor, Mrs. Joan thinks is tough regarding the UN. Paper 2 was rojak, I had a wrong choice of question.
Maths P1- Of all the 3 papers, my only chance of passing is here, otherwise its a red capital F. It was pretty OK, with exception of a few questions dont know how to answer, simply throwing marks.
Biz Studies P1- It was very unexpected, in the sense that quite tough topics, didn't make its way to P1, perhaps P2 kot. Is this what Cikgu Rashidah meant by the 'paper is easy but the answer is tough'. *puzzled*
2mrw, is my favourite paper, well sort of, Accounting. My calculative skills are still Ok but my theories understanding really need a lot of brushing up.
Ok, change in views. These few days, there were some interesting things brought up by the Breakfast Show and Pilihan FM DJ Izan, that I think is worth to be talk about here. There will be no elaborate views, just a short paragraph, but do watch out for the full views on next Saturday, either on this blog or my other blog, The Youth Generation @ lifeatsmsa.blogspot.com.
1st, regarding allowing the bringing of mobile phone to school. Why don't we just cancel the ban, & just allow it to be brought to school. If student were caught playing their 'toy' during classtime(like some1 I know did in Mr. JP class, back then in F4), then the teacher had the right to confiscate their wacky phone, alazakam. Yeah, teacher, ada new iPhone.(full views coming soon)
Next, on Tuesday, I was hearing DJ Izan talking about friendship. It was very informative with types of friends, types of friends to be avoided(toxics friends), how to make new friends(for people like me), etc. That show, really opens up my mind to search for new friends, oh by the way I got 1 new friend already. In addition, the fengshui sifu whom 'tilik my nasib' in Taipei last December said that being alone is NOT AN OPTION for me, as I am too dependent to others. Well, in a sense its true because soon, I may go to further my studies in Singapore, Australia, places whom I have no saudara(perhaps ada, but they dont want to regconise us as saudara), new environment. That will require a lot of locals help.

Happy
SMSA Bytes:Today, the 2009/2010 batch of MPP & prefects was appointed. The new Ketua MPP is Radin. It is hoped that they will perform their duties with dedications & be a role model 2 other students , as well as upholding the school's motto, Strive towards excellence. On the other hand, on Saturday, 9th April 2009, a Best Student award presentation will be held.
A very exhausted 3 days full of Accounting short tests is over, but the best is yet to come aka Prelim, AS, qualifying, A Level. So far, my P1 is ok hopefully P2 wont drag it down.Finally, I can have a small ruang bernafas & enjoy my TODAY & Sun fully. Today, Im very HAPPY because the April fool GP test turns out 2 b my best performance in GP Paper 1. Thanks Cher 4 praising me & ask others 2 read my essay. Oh finally my copyright reserved essay can be fileshared by others!
While flipping TODAY this morning when Im supposed 2 revise Accounting, I saw an ad about Uniqlo opening its 1st branch in Singapore. Earlier this month, there was a news report about it was planning 2 open in Singapore & said it will be mid-priced. Uniqlo is Japan's No. 1 casualwear apparel brand. Its equivalent to Giordano of Japan. Arigato ozaimas. Tahu kamu brpa T-shirtnya? $19.90-$24.90 Lawa wah UTs nya. Any1 going 2 Singapore, balikan 1!

Ok, yesterday was listening 2 Student's nite @ Pelangi FM. Yesterday was the turn of PTE Katok aka The Knockers. The guests were runner, photographer, historian. I wonder when is SMSA's turn? Aku mahu join eh, when turn SMSA, any1 care 2 join me? Setahu jua ku ni, tapi adalah orang SMSA yg ada chance 2 muncul d TV & radio. One of them is Ambrose Chong who is recording a RTB International programme, Boys vs girls. Let the battle begin!

One could not but be moved by the story of the soldier who asked his officer if he might go out into the "No Man's Land" between the trenches in World War 1 to bring in one of his comrades who lay grievously wounded.
"You can go," said the officer, "but it's not worth it. Your friend would probably be killed, and you will throw your own life away." But the man went.
Somehow he managed to get to his friend, hoist him onto his shoulder, and bring him back to the trenches. The two of them tumbled in together and lay in the trench bottom.

Very confused
SMSA Bytes Update:SMSA had lost all debate matches on the 1st day in the 13th National English Debate. SMSA may lost but SMSA WINS ON COMPETITION SPIRIT.Apparently, it seems that something is fishy here, as said by 1 of the spectators. Gratitude 2 all SMSA debaters esp Kanniga & Hj Djim Said, who have been training hard. 2mrw, SMSA Team A will be fighting again. BATTLE ON kerana LANGIT TAK SLALUNYA GELAP.
Lately, I have been reading blogs of my friends, classmates & unknown persons who may think Im a stalker! 2 of the quite interesting ones from the unknown person categories are:The Silver Cedar Stories by Ho Ren Chun & Sanctuary 4 the senses by Ren Chun's elder brother.

I really need 2 be inspired 4 new inspirations in my life. I have been confirmed by Mrs Imelda 2 b one of the 22 volunteers in SMSA CVS. Too bad, Angie use the wrong procedure 2 register that she is not in the list. Mrs Imelda also states that full dedication is required here. I am ready 2 menyahut new cabaran!
Yesterday, Mizi also introduced me 2 a photoshop tutorial website. It was good & I was planning 2 do the crystalised word, tapi siuk2 kan buat then I realised that my PC & laptop nada PaintShop Pro! Kurang pandai jua ku ni! Anyway thanks Mizi 4 introducing me 2 this web!
Ok, today Biz Studies class learnt about cash cow, problem child, dog, star. Then, tiba2 all of the sudden Cikgu Rashidah tukar topik about cari bf & gf dikalangan 'cream of the crop' that participate in the debate. Ada yg kena kah? Congrats eh yg dapat, bagi yg nada, apa kurengnya org SMSA? Ok jua!
In Accounting class, TEST LAGI! Inda pandai abis jua test ani, the good news is aku pass test Saturday sampai Teeqs HL geram atinya. Jangan marah!
Few months ago, I posted a KK trip post, tapi tiba2, I removed it. The trip coordinator kata the trip had been cancelled kerana too expensive 2 organise. Alternatively, mayb a trip 2 Bandar will be organised selepas abis Nov 09 A Level. Please also note that its a PRIVATE trip & tak ada kena mengena dengan admin SMSA. So, the price will be a bit higher than $5/7 yg kamu bayar selalu. However, rest assured that it will be not more than $10 & Trip coordinator TAK KAUT PROFIT xcept XTRA KERJA!
This Thursday will also mark the change of guards in SMSA aka MPP & prefects! Kepada 2008/2009 MPP & prefects, TQ 4 a job well done & new ones higher expectations are put on kamu semua!
Oh ya, talking about Hsiao Hung Jen album yg inda abis ku download, no thanks 2 SLOW SIPUT INTERNET CONNECTION @ CYber cafe. I managed 2 extract 4/10 song. Salah satu of my fav is I dont know. Think its a love song since part of the lyrics ada dont know if I love you.
Lastly, jump of joy pasal GP PAPER 2 POSTPONE 2 WEDNESDAY! Thats it!

Another Saturday, how time flies when u r having fun!
Xiong kai xin that is the word that can describe my feeling after completing Accounting short test just now! Its also the name of a song by Flower Band.
Well, its raining cat&dog again since it rain heavily @ 4pm. Mizi ur Physics teacher, Miss Michelle is very da chun 1 ah da weather prediction! However, I still think my Physics teacher in Form 5, Miss Carol is da BEST! Yakan Angie, Miss Carol is the BEST. Enough of ex-teacher talk, masa Teacher day then I list out all my teacher & ex-teacher names & thank you all 1 by 1 !
Ok, 2day was very hot, don't know why? Could it be global warming or some1 was chopping down trees somewhere in Brunei? Apakan, same also that!
Recently, I was having a few nite with nightmare. It was about me being ditolak ke dalam water by some1 from a bridge! My interpretation is its a wake up call from the God, 4 me not 2 fool around, otherwise I will lose out. ITS ALL ABOUT SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!
Meanwhile, next wk is the English National Debate hosted by SMSA. I don't know whether its a reason 4 joy or despair?
Oh ya, I have registered as a volunteer 4 SMSA CVS coordinated by Mrs Imelda, Head of SMSA Career Unit & Miss Michelle. Initially, we are planned 2 help @ Pusat Bahagia Eric Goh, a centre donated by Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Goh King Chin(GHK Group founder & Wu Zun father). Gradually it may include Seria Old folk's home & SMARTER Brunei KB.
Today is also Ching Ming festival(tomb sweeping). Its a day when you visit grave of ur ancestors 2 pay respect, offerings 4 them & as well as cleaning up a bit!
Ok b4, I end this post, gonna talk a bit about living in hostel from my point of view. It may be fun, with all these orientation 4 new hostelites, friendly senior room-mates. In addition, there is Tutor Nite every wk. On da other hand, di country lain ada ragging cases that become 'kes polis' just bcoz of $1. Mami2 minta duit minta seringgit membeli coklat!
I wonder why I can't do photoshopping, when I have learnt it in F5? Iatah main2 lagi masa class!
Oh dear, I cant shut up ada things I havent said. TQ 2 Brunei Times & Goldpages, 4 giving me a 3mth subs., hope that these can help me 2 improve my GP marks & realise the aspiration of all A grade 4 set 2! Set 1 & 5, you can do it 2, if you think you can!
Lastly, damn that internet connection! Supposely, 2day I can listen to Free Hsiao Hung Jen 2nd album, my name is f word. This artist is pretty good, he modernise Minnan song with pop element!

boring day, lots more
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, its just another boring day! Well, not BORING, even in Brunei if you get preoccupied with activities such as hanging out with friends, having a late nite 'nasi katok', go fishing with your girlfriend(adakah?), having BBQ, clubbing(as in proms & birthday parties, since both ada bands and music), well not forgetting your h/w and revision if you are studying, unless you would like to get a piece of your teacher!
Yesterday, 2nd April 2009, was SMSA Inter-house Sports, as usual since Darjah 1, I dont join in, with exception when I am in Form 4 in SMS, where its a tradition in SMS that Form 4 will organise the sports. It was fun working in the sports, I am entrusted to be a scorekeeper. Kebetulan, my house Red House WINS, yeah, tapi I don't cheat in the counting of points, since I have an auditor which is my friend, Rabani who is also in Red House. kirai2, banar aku inda main buyuk Cali ah, although I don't join sports, in one of my ex-school walkathon, aku dapat 4th place, not bad eh 4 some1 who don't join sports!
Up till now, I am still finding the Golf&Mike Tung Phan Tung shie(classmate song), and Hsiao Hung Jen has just released his 2nd album, not too bad the song. I first heard of the song on MY FM yesterday. Well, that's about it
P.S. Dare to fail, they you will be daring to pass with flying colours. As Bill Gates say, SUCCESS CHEATS SMART PEOPLE THINKING THAT THEY WILL NEVER FAIL! Gagal sekali, bukan bererti, gagal selamanya & berjaya sekali, bukan bererti kejayaan adalah pasti setiap kali! On that note, mix your work with fun as pleasure, or 4 students mix study with fun & pleasure(New Urban Male principles) Signing off!

April fool, april fish, april setahu!

1st of all 2day its April fool day, in French April fish day & d Brunei April setahu day(created by me)! So far, aku x yet kena fool lagi, so kamu semua diwelcome 4 trying 2 fool me! Apparently, GP tutor, Mrs Joan had fooled me with da P1 test tadi, it was tough & I was taken aback by the topics. Dont know if what I write is relevant or its just a piece of CRAP! Argh, mental eh test atu!
2day its also DST Group 14th anniversary, ada Customer Appreciation Day arah KB 2day & 2mrw. Oh, Im so appreciated(macam banar). Au they should thank me pasal I use Easi, Go! Broadband & Kristal Astro! On another note, ada Nokia 5800 xpress music on sale 4 $548! Aku mahu eh, tapi masalahnya da family finance minister, my dad! Enough, aku kan say about Ching Ming! Sorry 2 Ah Kong & Ah Ma, my moyang, 4 not able 2 clear up kuburan kamu. Hope that you will memberkati me & keluarga, 2 have a blissful life. You will always diingati.
